Jaz is an 8 year old black mare with 3 correct paces and a flashy trot. She is well established in dressage, working towards elementary and has competed in both prelim and novice Trailblazer championships ‘05, ‘06 as well as in riding club teams. Has potential to go further and will affiliate. She has also done P(UK) M&M classes and PC/RC rallies.

We at the Dartmoor Pony Training Centre are looking for a permanent loan home for Bonnie
Bonnie is a grey 3 year old mare. She came to us with another pony named Clyde, their owner sadly died and we agreed to re-home them.
She is a very sweet pony and loves attention though is strange at times and sometimes does not seem to differentiate between ponies and humans! For example she may go to nip when you touch her legs or when grooming she may suddenly buck to touch and it is as if she thinks you are a pony biting her.
For this reason she needs an experienced home. We are working on this and she is getting better and once she learns her boundaries and that we are not to be treated in the same way as her field mates she will be fine!
About us
We are a non-profit organisation registered with the Council for Voluntary Services. Please see below a summary of our aims:
To take on a number of ponies every year to train and re-home preferably doing ‘high profile’ jobs e.g. working as therapy ponies. We hope that these ponies will act as ambassadors for the breed.
To promote Dartmoor Hill ponies in any way possible.
To offer advice and marketing and training support to people wanting to sell their ponies privately (including online sales list.)
To offer advice and information on suitable training methods for working with Dartmoor Hill ponies. (Including running training workshops and events.)
To compile a list of national trainers with experience working with Dartmoor Hill Ponies.
To work alongside and support other organisations and bodies working with Hill Ponies to help us achieve our aims.
